Walked past every day,
objects hide in daily tasks
and well-traced paths in my kitchen:
Respite comes with a new way of seeing.
Joy sighs come in alternate perspectives.
Commonplace becomes uncommon,
and we can find beauty in obscure places—
an unexpected gift-breath
and a different kind of nourishment.
