Awww! I love this little hummer picture. Our guys are still here - even after a weekend with something like 10 inches of rain. But they'll be flying south very soon. Luckily we live in a rather warm climate so they stick around with us longer than with a lot of folks.
Hope 'son' stays docile..that beak looks like it could do some damage. Our hummers' have flown away. Some big fat bumblebees' were out and about on the flowers today. It was a beautiful day....we took down hanging baskets and did some weeding. Never done!

ReplyDeleteWe still have a lot since our season is longer. Some even stay over for the winter when they have food I've heard.
