Jewels in the Shadows

Even the weakest light reflects,
and jewels are found in the dark.
The weed-weary, filth-choked—
dark below and above—
receive the wet-washed Word, freely given,
falling, falling
raining from above,
glistening the darkest of shadows.

  1. I LOVE that! Profound and awesome TRUTH!

The 'darker' the world gets, the more I am so humbled and grateful that GOD'S amazing mercy has allowed me to believe in HIS provision of HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS, to be my SAVIOR! And to know WHOM I have believed!

HE has so gifted you with such a talent!

    GOD BLESS YOU, LILLY!

  2. Ahh...I do miss the rains. Day 85 in the drought of 2012.
I wait for Autumn. Perhaps the rains will return.
    Your sunset photographs are lovely.
Sherry, who is praying for rain

    1. We've gotten all the monsoonish rain clouds, but just a drizzle here and there. The mountains have gotten it all. Lots of parts of the country need rain!
