Some Scenes from Yesterday’s “Daycation”: Mormon Rocks

This area is called Mormon Rocks. Didn’t see Mitt Romney.
If we win the lottery, we’ll take that Alaska or Mediterranean cruise or a lovely jaunt to Florence and Venice. Till then, we find beauty on our daycations close to home. And I capture them in my camera!

Only losers go to places like Paris and Copenhagen and Madrid. The really cool folks go to the desert. Next stop: Death Valley!
I like the little hearts on the thorny bush. Something philosophical there, I think. :-)
