Color in the desert . . .

Liquid,

molten amber--

chlorophyll recedes and crisp desert nights turn sweet red

the summer’s green.

Leaves on spidery spindles

dangle.

Wind rustles this factory shaker, this oxygen maker,

and in a glance, it’s gone.

  2. Thanks! It's been a lovely fall for color here. And I have so much pleasure enjoying it all. As my hubby says, I get triple pleasure because I love it and photograph, then I go through it to edit, then I get to share!
